Part Time Bookkeeper

Job Description:

  • Check sales invoice records
  • Post purchase invoices to the system
  • Produce VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Manage petty cash payments and expenses
  • Record mileage claims
  • Produce management accounts
  • Payroll management
  • Project reconciliation
  • Maintain purchase order system

Person Specification:

  • Educated to a minimum of 'A’ level education
  • Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role is essential
  • Candidates should be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Drop Box)
  • A good knowledge of Xero is preferable
  • Qualified to AAT or part-qualified ACA preferred
  • Good planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • All-rounder comfortable working in a small company

Additional Information:

  • Based in Leatherhead
  • £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata
  • 20-24 hours a week (over either 5 or 4 days) Monday - Friday
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holiday pro rata
