We are an established market leading distributor seeking a successful Area Sales Manager / Territory Manager with experience of selling to the fabricator sector across the North East.

SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 OTE; £40,000 - £45,000

BENEFITS: Fully expensed car or car allowance, company credit card, pension, 25 days holiday, laptop, phone

LOCATION: Home based role covering the North East including; Yorkshire, Cleveland, Durham, Lincolnshire, Humberside, Tyne & Wear.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Home based you could be located in: M62 corridor, Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Leeds, York, Hull, Lincoln, Nottingham, Sheffield, Newark, Cleveland.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager

We are a multi-million pound, premium distributor of one of the widest ranges of high quality door and window furniture to the OEM Timber, Aluminium and PVC trade. Our clients range from the UK’s largest door & window manufacturers to the many independent tradesmen within the sectors.

Based from home and reporting to the Sales Director, the main focus of the Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager will be to develop new customers (80%) and nurture long term relationships with an existing account base (20%) across the North East area.

PERSON SPECIFICATION – Area Sales Manager / Territory Manager

You MUST have a demonstrable track record of selling to fabrication market.

In addition you will:

* Be highly self-motivated.
* Be extremely organised and used to accurately planning your territory.
* Be totally customer focused, regularly going the extra mile.

Typical order values range from £1,000 to £10,000 per month and the successful person will be used to closing these levels of business.

This is a strategic value added, relationship sell and not one based on price alone so proven experience of developing long-term clients is also a must.
