Prime-Appointments are currently recruiting for a Fixed-Term candidate on a 1 Year Maternity contract in Chelmsford, who is experienced as a Payroll Assistant.

This position is on a Full-time basis, working 5 days a week. The working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Your duties will include:

Communicate monthly payroll cut off dates via weekly news memo to field managers.
Process all new starters, leavers, change of details and advances, as communicated via the Employee Relations team and/or field management.
Process changes to employee personal details Process all monthly (approx. 420) timesheets for UK and Ireland payrolls.
Calculate sickness percentages for head office and field employees who have been absent during the payroll month and forward suggested enhanced sickness payments to the HR Director for authorisation.
Calculate and process any relevant SSP where enhanced payment has not been offered.
Calculate and process SMP for UK payroll.
Assist with the monthly benefit selections by updating payroll and advising the benefits broker of the changes.
Assist with processing all monthly pension changes.
Process all P45's and Starter Check Lists Collate monthly payroll reports and ensure the finance department receives the monthly journals for all payrolls.
Along with reports required for the benefits broker.
Reconcile the monthly pension deductions and pay contributions across to AEGON.
Process all third party payments; HMRC, Court Orders, Childcare Vouchers etc.
Scan and file all monthly payroll paperwork.
