Nursing Home Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
£35,000 per annum
Full time days

TIME Recruitment is currently working with a large health & social care provider in selecting a supernumerary Deputy Manager (qualified nurse RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join the management team at a care home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

This large home provides care for up to 95 residents at a time, and as such we are looking for an experienced, proven senior nurse or someone with prior deputy management or home management experience.

---THE ROLE---
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a leading role in the provision of top-class care and support to residents. You will need to be confident in managing teams of clinical and non-clinical staff, supervising and monitoring performance on a regular basis. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a keen understanding of CQC standards are crucial to the role. Previous experience of leading a team within a care setting is essential.

The role is largely supernumerary, allowing you to focus on clinical governance while a team of unit managers and nurses handle the bulk of the hands-on clinical work. Working closely with the Home Manager, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for any ambitious nurse looking to progress. Our client has a large number of services across Yorkshire and the North East and can offer realistic progression pathways for those looking to move on into home or even area management.

Our client offers an excellent classroom induction programme, supported by on-going training and professional development. For nurses looking to progress, our client is large enough to offer ample progression opportunities, along with specialist training in areas like dementia and palliative care. You will also be encouraged to progress through formal management qualifications should you wish to develop further.

This role is offering a competitive salary of £35,000 to the successful candidate. This is supplemented by the following additional benefits:

- generous matched pension contributions
- access to private health and dental care
- NMC/DBS costs paid
- free uniform
- access to high quality, extensive induction and continuing training
