My client a start up Cleaning Company based near Canary Wharf are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor/ Assistant Manager to join their new team

The Assistant Manager will take lead in ensuring that an excellent cleaning service is provided to customers.

You will lead the recruitment process of cleaning operatives, and supervisors and oversee their training.

Responsibilities:

- To help develop appropriate Job Descriptions and T&C's for cleaning operatives and undertake the recruitment of appropriate people to fill positions.

Training and Development:

- To ensure the appropriate induction and training when a new cleaning operative joins the company
- To work with each employee in the assessment and have regular reviews of their training and development
- Develop partnerships with training providers and other relevant partners
- To deliver training directly where appropriate and necessary

General Responsibilities:

- To operate at all times in a way which is consistent with the stated aims of the company and upholds its good reputation
- To observe and uphold all the company's agreed policies and procedures
- To undertake any other duties or responsibilities which from time to time may be appropriate

Contract Management and Delivery

- To assist in providing quotations to new customers including site visits
- To oversee the effective delivery of agreed cleaning contracts
- To operate a quality Assurance process on each contract
- To maintain the highest standards of service to all customers at all times
