A growing accountancy practice in Narberth is merging with another practice that has been established in the area for 30 years. As a result of a steadily growing client base, the practice are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. 

The company are in the process of transferring their accounting software to Xero within the next 3-6 months. This role would suit someone who has dealt with incomplete records and have an adaptable approach to work.

The right candidate will have to be a competent Excel user as well as a self-starter. As this is a client facing role you must have experience in a similar role within a practice or consultancy based position to be confident in dealing with client queries.

You will be keeping their client's books up to date with a large emphasis of the role being focused on VAT returns and submission to HMRC. If you are a self-starter and are looking to join a rapidly expanding practice then this could be a great opportunity for you!

• Experience in reconciling statements at the end of the month
• Preparing management accounts. (trial balance & profit and loss)
• Liaise with HMRC via phone and letter.
• Liaise with clients via email and telephone.
• Processing VAT returns and liaising with HMRC
• Assisting clients with VAT queries

You will need your own form of transport for this role
