My award winning client in Grantham are looking for a CIPD qualified HR Advisor to join their busy HR team. This role is a true generalist one within a vibrant and diverse business supporting colleagues and clients throughout the East Midlands.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
To provide professional HR information and guidance to Directors on any relevant HR issue.
To assist in reviewing our HR policies and procedures and where necessary recommend improvements beneficial to the firm to the HR Director/HR Associate Director
To contribute to the strategic review of the Company from an HR perspective.
To maintain a Department to which team members will feel free to seek help and/or guidance, if necessary on a confidential basis.
To provide salary and benefits guidance to HR Director particularly in advance of annual salary review; to include knowledge of market rates and local recruitment activity, individual progression and general issues
To assist with the overall management of the recruitment process across the Group, to include working with Directors to identify recruitment needs, manage recruitment process within HR team; recruitment interviewing;
To keep under regular review overall team member development within the Company and recommend improvements where necessary via the Training or HR Committees. In particular to assist with maintaining effective management development programmes.
To work with HR Director and HR Associate Director to provide HR advisory service to clients
To regularly review the firm`s appraisal system and competency framework to ensure that it is beneficial to both the needs of the firm and individuals.
To be cost conscious particularly in relation to recruitment options and to work to any agreed budgets.
With this role you will need to travel to other offices and client sites, therefore a driving licence and car is essential.
