Lead Digital Analyst

£40,000 - £43,000 + bonus and benefits

Sat within the wider Strategy and Communications division and reporting into the Head of Analytics, this is a senior Digital Analyst position that will offer a lot of variety. My client are a leading tourism and leisure organisation who produce award winning international campaigns and content. They produce material for both consumers and corporates producing key trends and insights, leading events, e-magazines and more.

Role of Lead Digital Analyst

This position will mentor a junior executive and be a direct support to the Head of Analytics. You will work in wider team of ecommerce and digital analytics experts. The role will focus on content analytics to optimise the performance of their content across all platforms.

- Investigate potential areas for the team to work on
- Provide recommendations to optimise the website performance and conversion
- Provide recommendations on web/ editorial content analytics
- Provide reports to internal teams
- Deliver monthly website and social media KPI reports
- Analyse all platforms both industry facing and consumer facing.
- Traffic analysis using data sources from SEO agency, social media monitoring tools, email marketing software, media agency data)
- Set up dashboards and events to track in Google Analytics
- Contribute to analytics strategy and processes.
- Mentor junior team member and help to manage their work load.

Requirements of Lead Digital Analyst

- Google Analytics or knowledge of web analytics tools is essential
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager is desirable
- Experience using other analysis tools like SQL, VBA and working with CRM platforms
- Understanding of wider online marketing principles and digital marketing
- Preparedness to seek and share knowledge in a team environment
- Enthusiasm and passion for work
