An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently seeking a Global Communication Executive Foods, based at Unilever's Global HQ in Blackfriars, London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying up to £36,500 per annum.

Role overview
This is a fantastic role for anyone who is interested in joining a passionate & driven team, working on accelerating the growth and transforming our Unilever Foods business. As a member of the Global Foods Category Communications team, the Category Communications Executive will be asked to lead and contribute to key initiatives and projects to support both the Global Foods Category and Global Communication Function's agenda.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone creative, pro-active, efficient and driven with excellent organisational and communication skills, particularly in the area of digital communications. It's very important that you have a real passion for food and a flare for taking ideas and helping to bring them to life in a creative and engaging way. The position offers unprecedented access to senior stakeholders, a truly global perspective and the opportunity to work with some of Unilever's biggest brands.

Storytelling and content
1.You will write engaging content for various channels, including social media, the intranet, our monthly newsletter, and ensure that all channels are well maintained and provide the most up-to-date information for users
2.You will drive a proactive, positive Sustainable Nutrition narrative - developing a detailed annual content calendar - through Foods internal and external channels, and Unilever's network.
3.You will create and activate communications (case studies, key messages, proof points) around the strategic priorities for Foods
4.You will help to collect the latest news from across the globe to help showcase Unilever Foods and our brands. You will bring stories to life in an exciting and engaging way and share them with relevant stakeholders through the appropriate channels - both internally and externally
5.Where possible, you should also find ways to feed messages into our global internal and external communication channels such as and social media, working closely with Global Corporate Comms, Brand teams, External Affairs and Media Relations teams, among others.

1.You will help to build an extensive network of contacts across the Category and use this network to regularly supply your team with relevant news, best practice examples and assets from our regions and functions
2.You will build an extensive asset archive for the communications team to use including the latest logos, pack shots, images, case studies and movies
3.You will co-ordinate and run the team meetings, providing agendas and action lists to team members.

Leadership events and global campaigns
1.Develop and deliver impactful Foods rich media content with key video production suppliers - leadership videos, mood films, best practice case studies, and quarterly Town Hall content
2.Lead on various Foods campaigns - i.e. Idea festivals, Chatter Chats, internal awards and recognition
3.Support and act as consultant to brands and functional teams on communications around key campaigns and events, to ensure effective and consistent messaging
4.You will support the team in ensuring Foods is well represented at key events throughout the year

Digital trusted advisor
1.You will become the digital expert in the team - advising the team on the best use of external social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest, as well as internal platforms
2.You will manage the day-to-day running and content planning for our external Foods Category social media channels, advising on relevant content and keeping up to date with industry best practice
3.You will keep the team aware of any issues arising on social media

1.Excellent digital knowledge (Sharepoint, Powerpoint including graphing expertise, Photoshop, Social Media savvy)
2.Passion for Food
3.A minimum of 4 years of experience in a digital marketing or communications role
4.Comfortable to work closely with senior leadership
5.Strong written communication skills
6.Experience in communicating business strategy and key priorities, clearing and simply
7.Experience of working with social media and social media monitoring tools (preferable)
8.Experience in developing and delivering creative, impactful communication materials
