Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant
York Outskirts
£18,000 - £20,000 plus bonus
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00- 17:00

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further their experience within credit control and purchase ledger within a expanding firm. . You will work alongside the Finance manager to ensure the best possible service to their clients

Role:

*Log all the purchase ledger invoices that have been received
*Match Supplier invoices to the Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Purchase Order. Any discrepancies to be passed to Purchasing Manager to investigate, resolve and feedback
*File supplier invoices appropriately
*Supplier statement reconciliation - as required
*Log incoming cheque payments into SAP Business One and electronic payments as required
*Effectively administer aged debt, customer payments and credit control systems in line with current documented operating procedures
*Print weekly invoices using dedicated PC
*Print monthly customer statements using dedicated PC, produce dunning reports as necessary
*Support customer services team with handling incoming telephone calls as necessary

Ideal candidate:

*Eye for detail
*Credit Control experience
*Excellent telephone manner
*Experience of SAP ideal but not essential
*Team Player who will be reliable and supportive
*Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
*Work without supervision
