We are looking to recruit a temporary purchase ledger assistant to join our fast pace Accounts team. The chosen candidate will be involved with the day to day aspects of a typical Purchase Ledger department. Reporting in to the Purchase Ledger Manager.

What you’ll be responsible for as Purchase Ledger Assistant?

Match Purchase Invoices to Goods received/Goods Inward Notes 

Have responsibility for 300 + accounts, responsible for a proportion of the ledger matching to the 2 separate systems

Liaise with Suppliers regarding Statement & Invoice queries

Any other ad hoc accounts payable duties

What will I need to succeed as Purchase Ledger Assistant?

We are looking for candidates with couple of years of experience in a Purchase Ledger role able to demonstrate experience in dealing with volumes. 

You will be confident and capable of extracting and reporting information through spreadsheets, and databases. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure you are conveying information to internal staff and suppliers effectively.

You will have strong MS Office knowledge especially Word, Excel & Vision Excel. Experience in Oracle Finance Systems, PCICS(Bespoke) & Bancpay is advantageous.
