This 119 bed hotel lies across the road from Xscape, a cinema/shopping/entertainment complex, and a 5-minute walk from the J32 outlet shopping village. With guests visiting for a range of reasons - from a therapeutic shopping spree to an exciting day snowboarding the hotel this hotel is also buzzing. An 80 seater restaurant provides a great atmosphere in the evenings, and allows guests to dine with us our very own Thyme Restaurant and Bar.

This hotel is located just 1.5 miles from the Castleford town centre, and has easy access transport links for someone who is excited by the opportunity to join the team.

Like our hospitality, our menus represent really great value - As a Head Chef with Premier Inn you will be part of the senior management team within the hotel, ensuring that our kitchen team members serve up delicious food and work together to deliver a great guest experience.

Serving fantastic food on time every time, you will be as comfortable in a suit as you are in your chef whites. You will have the managerial skills and experience essential to the efficient running of the kitchen and the whole of our Back of House operation - managing control processes to maximize productivity and minimize issues. Maintaining a safe, compliant kitchen is a fundamental part of the role, and you will be fully responsible for all stock items in the hotel. Where you'll really make your mark is when you are leading the team, inspiring each kitchen team member to enthusiastically deliver brilliant service at all times. From recruitment to ongoing training and development, you'll make sure they're all comfortable and confident in their role and looking ahead to see where they can be even better.
