An excellent, temporary opportunity has presented in Ellesmere Port for an immediately available Transactional Clerk/ Accounts Assistant.

Client Details

Based in Ellesmere Port, this role will be to support the finance function and help decrease the backlog of invoices.

Description

The transactional clerk will be responsible for:

  • Processing Purchase Ledger- matching, batching and coding of invoices
  • Support the Sales ledger function- raising invoices
  • Data input- heavy use of Excel
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Administration duties
  • Ad hoc duties

Profile

Applicants must be immediately available to work and have previously worked within a finance team, processing both ledgers.

It is essential the successful candidate can use Excel to an intermediate level- using and understanding V Look ups, Pivot Tables, formula.
