Business Development Coordinator

The company

The business is one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. Clients include leading names across a wide range of sectors including aviation, construction, engineering, manufacturing, retail, utilities and the emergency services.

The job

The purpose of the role is to support the business development team with the project management/coordination of submissions, presentations, etc.

You will assist in particular with reviewing tender portals to identify suitable opportunities, the download and setup of tender files, setting up internal and external meetings, tracking key project dates and ensuring contributors deliver to schedule, supporting the preparation of presentations, submission of accurate tender responses to deadline, compiling and reporting on the team’s performance plus developing and maintaining databases and libraries of relevant data and information.

Your experience

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with previous experience in a business development, sales team support or similar role, most preferably within an insurance or medical environment. You will have the ability to interpret customer needs, possess sound IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook plus excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Business Development Coordinator job is based in Uckfield, East Sussex and is paying £20,000 - £22,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus 25 days holiday and health cash plan.
