Founded in 1964, my client is the largest membership organisation in the UK. A fantastic charity with a focus on agriculture and nature working across the UK.

Your new role

To provide effective accounting services and provide timely financial information the the organisations management team and to be responsible for managing the finance function.

Responsible for:

  • Financial reports, budgeting, performance, Cash-flow and debtors
  • Financial Performance on Key events and activities
  • Payroll
  • Credit control
  • Bank transfers
  • Overseeing sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and Fixed asset register
  • VAT, EC sales, Petty cash

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified or "qualified by experience" Finance Controller who has a strong background of the SME market. A hands on candidate is essential with a strong desire to make a difference.
