Welder / Fabricator

As a Fabricator/Welder at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.
This position is permanent.
The working days are Monday – Friday, with some on-call and overtime.
What will I be doing as a Fabricator/Welder?
As a Fabricator you will be part of an engineering team at our recycling site at Tilbury.
The key responsibilites of this role are:
Using the welding / burning equipment in a professional and safe manner at all times.
Provide solutions for areas that need improvement on the site
Conduct daily checks on all welding equipment and ensure that the equipment is in good working order at all times and that the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule has been followed.
Identify any contamination of material and report to your site supervisor, including the origin / carrier of the material.
What are the requirements? (Experience and qualifications)
We are looking for an individual with a City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, working to BS EN 287-1:2011 standard.
The successful candidate will have Hard Facing and preferrably Heavy Industry experience.
