My client a growing company based on the outskirts of Maidstone are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be studying towards their AAT qualification or looking to study in the future. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Posting sales invoices & credit notes to the accounts system on a monthly basis, ensuring that all invoices posted to the system comply with our different customer contracts rates and terms.
• Monitoring accuracy of funding sent to customers, and internal corporate reporting to ensure accurate financial data is provided to management.
• Allocation of customer receipts to the accounts system and maintenance of cash book spreadsheets
• Active involvement in the Credit Control function to ensure timely payment of invoices so overdue debts are kept to a minimum
• Reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Assist as necessary with data and information requests for the finance department and senior management teams.
