Job overview

Experienced Traffic Management Operatives are required to join one of the UK's leading hire equipment organisations. As a FTSE 100 company, A-Plant can offer excellent training opportunities with great scope for progression, supporting you throughout your career.

Roles and responsibilities

The role will include all aspects of traffic management, including the following:-

  • Temporary traffic lights
  • Road closures
  • Stop and go
  • Setting up and manning of sites
  • Signage
  • General depot duties

Skills required

If you’ve got sound knowledge of local roads and you’re a good map-reader, this role will be perfect for you.

Successful applicants will be punctual, have clear communicaiton skills and a clean driving licence.

Relevant qualifications such as Street Works Unit 2: Signing, Lighting and Guarding and Lantra 12D would be an advantage but are not deemed essential.

You will work 10 hours per day over 5 days, totalling 47.5 hours per week. Hours of work will be scheduled between our core operating hours, which are 0530 to 2230, Monday to Sunday.

In return, we offer a salary of £24,083 per annum and 20 days annual leave. You will also be eligible for life assurance and inclusion into the Company pension scheme.
