Your new role
Working together with the company director you will be making sure that the Payroll is done the best possible way, adhering to regulations and using best practices. You will be managing a small team of 2 experienced payrollers and also have involvement in the day-to-day running of the process.
As my client is providing temporary and permanent workers as well the payroll is a technical and high volume one - process reviews and staying up to date with rules and regulations will be a big part of your job.
You will be reporting into the Director of the company and have regular meetings as well.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience - preferably from a similar industry or from a high volume and technical payroll background. You need people and payroll management background in order to form the function into a stand-alone and high performing function. You also need up to date knowledge of the regulations and have a keen interest in setting up best practices.
