Journals Production Editor/Controller, 10 month contract
About the role:
We are looking for a strong project manager to join our busy Journal Production department and work on a list of established journals. This role is initially a 10 month maternity cover contract.
Ideally you will be well organised, have meticulous attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to switch and prioritise work and have enthusiasm for working with constantly changing procedures and technology. Some books or journals production experience is essential.
You will ideally be educated to A-level/degree standard have proficient computer skills in standard Microsoft office packages and be an effective communicator, also able to work as part of a team. The job requires the ability to perform to a high standard with great attention to detail, and the candidate should process strong project management skills.
