Our client in the technology industry is looking to recruit an FP&A Analyst for their expanding EMEA function. 

The FP&A function takes data from various sources from a number of areas of the business, analyses this data and provides information back to the business leaders to be able to make decisions to aid our growth and success.

The depatrtment is still young in EMEA allowing the FP&A Analyst to make a significant contribution to the offerings, growth and development of the team. For the right candidate this role offers a fantastic platform to develop their analytics career in a fast paced environment, working with talented minds that have a passion for numbers and what they can tell us about our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the FP&A team in the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
• Assist in the production of budgets with key stakeholders and management of finance models and supporting information
• Evaluating performance across the business against the KPI’s and the operational plans and budgets, including trend analysis
• Supporting the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that enhance existing reporting performance
• Implementing controls to improve data accuracy and integrity
• Assisting other business functions in streamlining their analytical/reporting processes

Key skills required.

Knowledge
• Excellent computer skills required - Microsoft Office (heavy Excel emphasis with the ability to use SUMIF and VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables at a minimum)
• Knowledge of generating business dashboards and key performance indicators and evaluating and reporting on business performance
• Commercial awareness would be a distinct advantage

• Highly numerate, with a curiosity to understand business performance with an analytical mind and the ability to translate into insights for others
• Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with all levels of the organization, including upper management
• Ability to effectively communicate openly with both finance and non-finance associates
• Commercially minded, logical and methodical in their work and process driven
• Team player, customer focused, proactive, energetic and committed.

Ideal Experience
• Undergraduate degree, or  2:1 or above, in a Finance, Business or Mathematics discipline
• 1-2 years of solid experience in a finance/analytics environment
• Exhibits flexibility and is committed to continuous self-learning, demonstrating a desire to advance and seek opportunities to stretch own capabilities
• Experience with CRM/ERP preferable
