Your new role
The purpose of the Head of Event Sales job is to lead and in particular grow, sales of events to corporate customers. Growth may come from building on the strengths of the current team, as well as greater focus on driving sales through new partnerships and approaches. Duties to include:
- Delivering on annual financial targets for event sales
- Producing a strategic plan for event sales
- Driving the performance of event sales within the team
- Manage the event sales team
- Report to the board on KPIs for the team
- Creating innovative ways of growing sales
What you'll need to succeed
This job requires a passionate, innovative and ambitious candidate with: excellent leaderships skills, effective performance management skills, experience of training and developing a sales team together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to execute ambitious growth plans and motivate and inspire your team.
