Hotel - Ala Carte
£20000 - £23000 salary
Our client are looking for a hard working and experienced sous chef to join their existing team. Based within a hotel in Huntingdon you will be in charge of the kitchen when the head chef is not present.
Strong leadership skills is required and management of the kitchen. At least 2 years sous chef experience should be required for the level of service already provided by the team. This is a busy hotel environment providing excellent dishes on a daily basis.
Sous Chef duties include:
Running the kitchen when the head chef is away
Ensuring your brigade has high culinary standards
Managing food purchasing and storage
Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Helping create new recipes and write menus
