An experienced Administrator, with working knowledge of an Accounts department, is sought for this successful family business based in Leighton Buzzard.

The main duties will include:

  • Credit control
  • Bank and cash reconciliations
  • Direct debit collection
  • Preparing and posting journals
  • Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Supporting the Manager in daily tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office
  • Provide a high standard of customer care when answering internal and external telephone calls
  • Pro-actively following up emails and telephone enquiries

For those looking to continue the Accounting side of their career, the opportunity to assist with the Management Accounts, Invoicing and Reconciliations is a great opportunity.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in an Accounts based role, be a proficient user of Microsoft applications in particular a good knowledge of Excel. You will possess excellent communication skills, be numerate, able to manage and prioritise own workload and use your own initiative to deal with any customer problems.
