Work Relief Charity Recruitment is acting on behalf of one of London’s most recognisable animal welfare charities and recruiting for a Trust & Grants Fundraising Executive to assist in developing the strategy while securing funding through trusts, foundations and statutory applications (£5-£100K).

At an exciting time of development, we are looking for an experienced trusts and grants fundraising professional to generate income through a healthy pipeline of returning funders while developing new opportunities

Fundraising Officer - Trusts & Grants

West London / North West London

Full Time, Permanent

£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for Trusts and Grants fundraising
  • Develop and implement an action plan for trust and grant fundraising
  • Build and develop relationships with a portfolio of potential and strategically important grant and trust bodies
  • Develop and write fundraising applications that sustain current programmes
  • Maintain and deliver a schedule of applications and reports to grant makers, including researching and prospecting for new funders

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a strong record of achievement in trust and foundations fundraising who is looking to develop and implement a strategy and make a role their own.

Applicants will need:

  • Experience of writing successful applications to grant and charitable trusts
  • Track record in winning funds through bids and applications to grant giving and statutory bodies
  • Experience of, and ability to, prepare high quality applications
  • Experience of working across an organisation to develop funding proposals for new projects or areas of work.
  • Ability to write compelling and innovative proposals and funding reports
  • First class, demonstrable written communication skills
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a small team
