Business Development Executive
£18,000 - 22000 + £40000 OTE

Having recently gained a new investment and with ambitious expansion plans Ellis Whittam are currently seeking Business Development Executives for their Chester based office. The BDE's will work in partnership with a field based Business Manager booking new business appointments. You will be responsible for self-generating leads and speaking with decision makers, whilst having a very consultative approach establishing a need.
Ellis Whittam provides Employment Law, HR and Health and Safety solutions and services to their clients. They target small-medium businesses across the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contacting decision makers within SME organisations via telephone
  • Ensuring targets are met for quality made appointments and maintaining intelligent diary management
  • Exceeding sales revenue targets and KPI's set by the Telesales Manager
  • Maintain regular contact with your Business Manager and building rapport to ensure you have a successful working partnership
  • Comply with the businesses reporting, admin and sales process and procedures

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Sales experience in a B2B environment making outbound calls to decision makers
  • Experience of introducing products and/or services to prospects
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organised, with the ability to manage opportunities at a variety of stages, from cold calling through to calls with previously identified hot prospects
