Fundraiser Glasgow basic pay + bonus.
Fundraisers permanently to work in Glasgow and surrounding area for leading well known charities
WORKING HOURS: FULL TIME WORKING 40 HOURS PER WEEK MINIMUM PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To actively recruit Direct Debit donors for Charity groups in venues across Glasgow
Please note this is not a "chuggers" role. You have your own stand set up and members of the public would approach you if you look friendly and professional - demonstrating a genuine interest in the charity you represent.
The earning potential is really good for those with a high work ethic as you gain commission for every person you sign up.
The targets are realistic and obtainable.
KEY TASKS OF THE ROLE:
To sign up members of the public to sponsor our Charity groups by Direct Debit.
To sign up agreed numbers of donors per week, in line with the Company thresholds.
Work cooperatively with other fundraising colleagues in your area.
Work cooperatively with the venues and the staff in those venues in which you are assigned to work.
GENERAL: At all times conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Travel as required on a regular basis with occasional overnight stays.
Preserve any information to which you are privy in your role, as confidential. ? To complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
Be able to talk knowledgeably and enthusiastically about the work of our Charity groups.
The role may at times have a number of physical demands, which may include standing for long periods of time and setting up heavy display equipment including Gazebos and stands.
For operational reasons, the Company reserves the right to transfer you to alternative duties. For this reason it is a condition of employment that you are willing to do so, if requested, from time to time.
Proven experience of working within a role where you are required to hit and achieve weekly targets.
Experience, whether paid or unpaid, of the voluntary sector and fundraising in particular
Some fundraising and/or campaign management experience. Previous experience within a Sales role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to work well under pressure and to meet targets.
Proactive and confident selfstarter with a drive to achieve.
Ability to work on your own, without close and constant support and supervision.
Able to commit to a flexible working pattern of 5 x 8 hour days in 7 to include Bank Holidays and weekends.
