RI Operations Accounts Administrator

To £30,000 d.o.e plus benefits and bonus

City of London

Global reinsurer seeks a graduate or an associate level Accounting certificate ideally with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role within the London Insurance industry for their Reinsurance Operations Account Administrator position.

The successful candidate will assist with processing, monitoring and admin tasks and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Booking and applying cash/receipts/disbursements
  • Maintain monthly cashbooks and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in processing of claim payments and reserves
  • Processing of technical and financial accounts
  • Collaborate with Reinsurance Operations team members focusing on transaction underwriting to facilitate an improved understanding and cross functional review of the full life cycle of reinsurance contract

Strong computer skills are essential particularly Microsoft Office and previous experience in a similar role is essential. Prior experience with ins/reinsurance underwriting systems (SICS, Genius, G4RI, IRIS) would be an advantage.

This is a superb role for someone who has 6-12 months accounts experience within insurance or alternatively a Finance graduate who is looking to embark on career within the London Insurance Market.
