My client a rapidly growing and leading FMCG organisation based in Ledbury, Herefordshire are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join a fast-paced finance function. A great opportunity to join a leading business where you are responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable processing and account analysis, and where you can really drive process and change to improve the AP department.
This permanent role is hands-on and varied, key duties will include ensuring the accurate posting of invoices to overhead accounts and cost centres (high transactional), making sure suppliers are paid in a timely manner, dealing with invoice query and resolution. Along with this you will assist in month-end processes, reconcile supplier statements, manage the preparation of VAT, intrastat and EC sales. You will assist in reporting of intercompany information and supervisor/mentor members of the accounts payable functions.
For this challenging senior accounts payable role you must have experience within a similar finance position with strong attention to detail, analytical skills and an pro-active approach. Skills in building multi-relationships is essential along with the ability to lead others within the team and multi-task. It would be advantageous if you have strong MS Excel skills (pivots/lookups) and have worked within the FMCG sector.
This hands-on Senior Accounts Payable role is offering a salary up to £30,000 per annum (Neg) dependable on the candidate with competitive benefits. Based in Ledbury, Herefordshire, this is a position where you can really make the role your own, and add value to a growing organisation.
