Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Finance officer for a reputable organisation based in Coventry. £21,000 - £23,000

The Role
As a finance officer you will be reporting to the finance manager and will be assisting with the timely and effective completion of a number of financial processes.

Other duties and responsibilities

- Maintain the purchase ledger & ensure that invoices are authorised 
- Answer purchase ledger queries via telephone and e-mail
- Assist the preparation of accounts for year-end audit
- Answer Sales ledger queries
- Support the Finance Manager

What are we looking?

- Good knowledge of Sage and Excel
- Numerate
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines..
