Corporate Performance Reporting and Planning Officer

Salary: Up to GBP 29,000 (including London weighting) depending on experience
About the role
This post sits in the dynamic corporate planning and performance and is responsible for the delivery of corporate performance reports to our leadership and board of trustees that under pin the organisation's performance management against the 2015-2019 strategy Refusing to Ignore People in Crisis. (Please note this is not a finance role.)
This close-knit team works with corporate finance, UK operations analysis, and technical experts across the organisation to ensure that the executive leadership team and board of trustees have access to insight and intelligence about our strategic journey. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting reporting on our organisational performance in line with our five year strategic vision, writing insightful corporate performance reports that pull together a range of information from across the organisation. You will also support the annual corporate business planning processes, managing our systems and providing guidance and support to teams as we plan to deliver annually against our strategy.

The British Red Cross helps millions of people in the UK and around the world to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies, disasters and conflicts.
Our volunteers and staff help people in crisis to live independently by providing support at home, mobility aids and transport. We also teach first aid skills.

About the team
Working across the organisation to implement corporate performance management process and procedures that that provide oversight of the organisation's performance against the 2015-2019 corporate strategy, reporting to the executive leadership team and board of trustees.
About the person
Key to this role will be proven experience of supporting organisational performance management and project management. You must have outstanding written and analytical skills and experience of producing strategic performance reports for senior audiences that combine data and written narrative.
You should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently in complex environments. Proven ability to form and maintain effective working relationships across teams, embrace and implement change, and work under pressure is essential. You will need to demonstrate the British Red Cross values of being courageous, inclusive, compassionate and dynamic.
