Sales Engineer, 3D Printing Machines, Capital Equipment, £35,000 Basic, £45K OTE + Car. This is probably one of the most exciting and varied technical sales roles imaginable representing the UKs leading supplier of 3D printing machines. Covering the East Midlands and the North of England accounts are the likes of high-performance motor sport teams, aerospace, product designers, automotive, defence, architects, consumer products and medical devices.

With machines ranging from £15K to £650K this is a capital equipment sale that requires a new business oriented sales engineer that can manage a large pipeline of potential and speaks the language of design engineers. Many of the sales are achieved from effective account management of the existing accounts where you manage the warranty contracts, maintenance agreements and the supply chain of consumables so that you are in the 'right place at the right time' to achieve the sales of Capital Equipment.

We are looking for an individual who has sold capital equipment into engineering firms such as CNC Machines, cutting machines, lathes, milling machines, etc. Alternatively, you could be selling components into OEMs so can understand drawings, CAD and what motivates design engineers. You could also be an apprentice trained engineer that has used 3D printing machines that has then progressed into sales. All the existing team members are well motivated, great communicators and have a genuine passion for engineering. As an employer, they are entrepreneurial, consultative, fair and straightforward.

The role is field based, operating from home and covering from Nottingham/Derby up into the North West and Yorkshire. The company exhibit heavily, so it will require some overnights away, and you will also be expected to meet with clients on a national basis 'outside of the patch' when required.
