My client based in Quedgeley, Gloucester are recruiting for a permanent experienced Payroll Administrator to join their well established and friendly team. The job will be to administer payroll for new and existing customer accounts.

Key objectives:

- To act as a contact for new and existing customers with regards to payroll related issues

- To process and reconcile payrolls as directed by the Payroll Supervisor

- To ensure payroll deadlines are met in conjunction with service level agreements

- Work in accordance with: legal and statutory requirements, company policies and procedures

- Assist and comply with the company quality system and workplace health and safety measures

Main tasks:

- To process and reconcile payrolls as directed by the Payroll Supervisor

- To ensure BACS are processed within the agreed deadlines

- Liaise with Customers with regard to service requirements and problem resolution

- Liaise with Finance regarding customer and office information

- Maintain a working knowledge of software, hardware and other developments that may affect outsourcing customers

- To train other Payroll team members

- Any other tasks assigned from time to time by your manager or supervisor

Candidate attributes:

- Ability to be part of a multi-skilled team

- Be able to effectively manage time and prioritise workload

- Demonstrate Payroll knowledge sufficient to complete a payrun

Hours - Monday - Friday - 9am - 5.30pm

Salary - £25k
