Working for leading, global manufacturer of technical products you will be working within a busy Customer service / sales support role in a fast paced position.

Your prime responsibility will be to assist and support the customers with queries, advising on products and also processing and dealing with orders and sales.

You will need to be computer literate, have accurate data input skills and an excellent telephone manner.

Technical knowledge is key to this role within electrical and electronic engineering, knowledge of schematics, understanding of transformers or knowledge of a guitar / radio amplifier's. If you have knowledge around ONE of the above areas this role may be the next step you are looking for!

Duties include:

1.Provides technical assistance for the total company product range to Distributors, Customers and sales staff.
2.Provides answers to enquiries on product information, volume discount pricing, quality issues and customer product solutions.
3.Assist the sales desk with volume standard product quotations.
4.Assist the sales desk to process quotations for modified products, assist with following enquiries through the drawing and sample approval stages and ensure that customer orders are processed to the correct drawing issue and contain all relevant information.
5.Assist Distributors, Customers and Sales Desk in determining which product will best meet the needs of the application.
6.Provide detailed information as required on all products and policies to Distributors, Customers and Sales Desk.
7.Perform various marketing projects as and when required.
8.Carry out various Customer Service tasks as and when required including order entry, shipments and customer enquiries.
9.Receive, log, monitor and resolve all enquiries relating to product quality.
10.Proactively review and expand new markets for existing products.
11.Review markets for new design ideas and report customer feedback and suggestions to management.
12.Visit Customers, Distributors and Exhibitions when required.
13.Cross-reference competitor products to company products.

Skills and Experience required

Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology qualification is desirable
Excellent communication skills and happy to work in an office environment
Able to read and understand mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings. An understanding of Transformers and Analogue and Digital circuitry is desirable.
Good mechanical, maths and communications skills.
Basic computer skills
Quick learner.
team player and able to support all area of the business

This role is paying a competitive salary of between £20-26k although there is flexibility on this for the right person.
