The company is one of the UK's leading independent consulting firms that specialises in Pensions, Systems and Data. This is a client facing role supporting defined benefit pension scheme clients. Any candidate will need to have clear and confident manner and the ability to speak with authority on all aspects of defined benefit pensions. The core of the day to day business is around pensions data analysis and prior knowledge of pensions administration is essential.

You will be joining one of the most rapidly expanding areas of ITM. As a part of the consulting team, you will help to:

  • Maintain the exceptional standards for ITM's support of clients.
  • Deliver large, complex projects.
  • Adhere to ITM's four core principles of Inclusivity, Integrity, Inspiration and Innovation.

During peak periods, the consulting team can be working on a number of projects. Candidates for this role must be able to simultaneously prioritise their workloads, deal with multiple enquires and maintain a pleasant attitude to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project delivery / management - managing client delivery to Project Initiation Document (PID) requirements.
  • Client management - managing client expectations and developing relationships.
  • Resource management - optimising delivery.
  • Specialist technical resource - including data analysis, calculation specification, ad hoc consulting.
  • Team / people management (where applicable) - ensuring staff and teams remain focused on objectives, delivery and strategies whilst maintaining morale.
  • Business assurance (BA) - ensuring quality of product against ITM and client requirements.
  • Respond to clients support calls via telephone and email.
  • Follow principles of Plan, Do, Check, Act in working practices.
  • Follow principle of continuous improvement in working practices - review quality of your work and how it may be made better.
  • Maintain records to ensure quality standards are being consistently worked towards.
  • Participate in audits as required.
  • Ensure security protocols and procedures are in place for entry into the office.
  • Follows principles of confidentiality as detailed in the Data Protection Act, in particular in regard to Sensitive Personal Data.
