Band 6 £28,887 to £37,629 full time
(paid pro rata for term time only plus four weeks).

This outstanding trust provides non-residential, stimulating learning environment for students/pupils across a wide range of diagnoses including moderate/severe/and profound learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, mental health and additional diagnoses.

Newly expanded as an academy trust with an Outstanding Ofsted rating, the friendly and successful Therapy team works in partnership with lecturers/teachers and support staff in their further education provisions and College and Academy Trust sites.

They require a Specialist Physiotherapist to work as a part of our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Speech and language therapists, Occupational therapists and music therapists) to support the students in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies.

You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as educating and supporting teaching staff in such aspects as postural management, manual handling, delivering therapy programmes, aquatic therapy and use of specialised equipment.

In addition the post will involve delivering training to other staff and provision of aquatic therapy. You will be responsible to and supported by the Band 7 equivalent Physiotherapist as well as the Lead for Therapies.

To be considered for this role you must have -
*Full HCPC registration
*A bachelor degree on physiotherapy
*At least 12 months knowledge of working with children with profound learning difficulties.
*Comfortable working in an MDT environment.
