An exciting opportunity has arisen with West Suffolk Councils. We are currently looking for a Programme Support Officer to come and join our team based in Bury St Edmunds. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours a week and will receive a starting salary of £24, 174 per annum plus unique benefits package.

About the Programme Support Officer role

Reporting to the Corporate Policy Service Manager and working directly with our two Strategic Directors, you will have proven experience of successful programme management, of working at pace on multiple projects and programmes in a complex environment.

What you’ll be doing as our Programme Support Officer

You will be expected to act as a first point of contact and main continuity link for specific programmes and projects, write briefings and reports to inform key managers, monitor and escalate risks and issues, collate reports and analyse data based on programme/project progress and information.  The ability to research, analyse and evaluate information as well as attention to detail and strong organisational skills is essential.
