Full time or Part time as a CAD/BIM Revit Technician working within the Public Sector. The role will look to manage, update and maintain the Architectural elements of the BIM and CAD digital models of the Estate. Position will be paying between £32,000-£42,000 depending upon experience

Description

As a CAD/BIM Revit Technician, candiates will:

  • Communicate and liaise as necessary with the Design Authority, Project Leaders/Managers and other staff including fire and maintenance teams to ensure effective management and revisions of data, models and drawings

  • Assist the estate in the transfer from CAD to BIM processes.

  • Carry out model authoring of the parts of the Estate in order to produce Estate Drawings and Estate information in order to replace the current drawings.
  • Assist in the management of the Architectural information within the Estate Common Data Environment (CDE), including maintaining a component library.

  • Carry out on-site surveys, liaise with specialists as required and produce detailed, models or CAD drawings unsupervised to become part of the estate wide record of all Architectural Elements of the Buildings. Commission and Manage surveys for complex or large systems.

  • Receive and check completed as-built data, models and drawings by external suppliers produced as part of Projects and surveys for accuracy on site and conformity to PED standards and regulations.

Profile

Successful CAD/BIM Revit Technician's will:

  • Knowledge and experience of adapting, updating and authoring Architectural models using Revit
  • Knowledge and experience of BIM processes, including the BS/PAS 1192 suite of documents
  • Knowledge and experience of authoring General Arrangement drawings with AutoCAD exposure to working with combined models in both Revit and Navisworks
  • Experience of working with existing or historic buildings
  • Proven ability to work inclusively and flexibly within a team to deliver high quality services and products
