£25,000 - £27,000 per annum + Benefits
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to take the next step and take on the role of Care Manager within this Residential Care Home in the Wigan area.

You will need to have at least three years experience of working within a residential care setting along with an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.

Your main responsibilities within this role will be to oversee all care related aspects of the Home's business, supervise and evaluate the care provided to everyone living in the home, ensuring care plans are followed and the residents are well cared for socially, emotionally and physically at all times. You will also take responsibility for the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager.

As the Care Manager, you will promote a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of person-centred care, meeting individual needs and making sure that everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

To carry out this role of Care Manager you will need a thorough understanding of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation, excellent interpersonal skills, supervisory and leadership skills and experience in recruitment, selection and retention of staff.

You will receive excellent training and support to help you to develop your skills helping you to become an outstanding Care Manager within this well thought of and reputable organisation.

The annual salary for this job is between £25,000 and £27,000 per annum depending on your experience with excellent benefits which you would expect from this sector leading Company.
