Payroll Clerk Excellent Opportunity Central Stockport
A rare highly sought after opportunity has arisen with a market leading distribution company based in Offices close to all public transport links in the centre of Stockport. There is also free parking available on site. This role has arisen as a result of an increase in workload due to the company making a recent acquisition of a competitor. This makes it an exciting time to join this organisation who have an excellent level of staff retention with a number of long serving team members.
The Payroll Clerk role will initially be a temporary role for 3 months, however there could be longer term opportunities coming up with the opportunity for the role to be extended.
You would work closely with the Payroll Team Leader and your key responsibilities will include:
?Ensuring all required wages information is received from client companies in time for payroll deadlines.
?????Ensuring all information is entered into the payroll system in accordance to payroll deadlines.
?????Performing accuracy checks on data as required by the payroll procedures.
?????Producing and distributing payslips to client companies within locally agreed deadlines.
?????Responding to queries from internal and external customers.
?????Filing all payroll information in accordance with the procedure and archiving policy.
In order to apply for this role you must:
Have previous experience of Payroll Administration
Be available to consider an initially temporary role
