The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager will be to manage, develop and leverage existing accounts whilst identifying new business opportunities across the UK and Europe.
Contact customers by phone and face to face to promote and sell the full company product range
Liaise with field engineers and partner companies to better understand customer needs
Create and follow sales plans for business development and revenue growth
Work closely with the Sales Director to understand client needs
· Qualifying incoming enquiries
· Speaking with customers to fully understand their requirements
· Generating accurate quotations
· Following up quotations
· Recording sales activity
· Project intelligence research
Some experience in a sales / estimating role within a technical field would be beneficial, however of more importance is a technical understanding, a willingness to provide excellent customer service and a tenacious attitude to get things done.
Product training will be provided
There will the occasional need to travel abroad.
