A hotel located in the Kendal region of Cumbria has a Junior Sous Chef position available
A Junior Sous Chef is required to join the team of chefs preparing dishes for the hotel’s fine dining restaurant that has awards and accolades for the high standards of cooking on display. The restaurant offers high quality dining within a relaxed atmosphere with delicious dishes prepared plenty of produce from the Cumbria region served simply but stylishly. In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable to work between the sections in the kitchen as well as assisting with the supervision of the junior chefs in the brigade and you will be given input on the menu design too.
This role would be ideal for a Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up into a Junior Sous Chef role who has been working in a kitchen serving a restaurant accredited with a minimum of two AA Rosettes. This is a busy venue so it is important that you are capable of cooking for large numbers whilst maintaining exacting standards of cooking.
