The job

The Area Sales Manager will report to the UK Sales Director and would have the responsibility for maximising sales with existing and potential new customers.

You will work closely with the internal sales team to qualify, manage and develop business as part of the company’s growth plans. You will also ensure you meet and exceed sales targets and objectives, generate monthly reports providing relevant sales activity in detail, maintain and develop existing customers through organic growth and individual account support, work closely with key decision makers and develop lasting strategic relationships with the customers plus coordinate presentations and site visits to further promote the business.

Your experience

You will be able to demonstrate a strong external sales track record together with a good technical capability to understand engineering and mechanical components - a background of selling fasteners is highly desirable! You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to multi task, be highly organised plus be enthusiastic and committed with an eagerness to succeed.

More details

The Area Sales Manager job is a homebased role covering the South East region. The role is paying up to £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus company car and performance related bonus.
