Outbound Sales Agent

Our client is an established Travel Insurance provider with offices based locally in Southend.

The purpose of your position will be to proactively and effectively market a full range of insurance products via outbound calling to existing or potential customers who have expressed current or previous interest.

Key Responsibilities

  • To proactively and compliantly sell products and services via outbound customer calls in order to achieve sales targets and objectives consistently
  • To represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • To accurately record all customer data on our relevant systems/databases
  • To respond positively and accurately to all product and process questions raised by customers and/or colleagues
  • To recognise opportunities to upsell, cross sell and promote additional products to maximise sales
  • To identify sales opportunities within the call whilst maintaining excellent customer service at all times
  • To adhere to the Company's procedure in accordance with the FCA guidelines and TCF (treating the customer fairly)

The Candidate

  • As an applicant, you will have previous experience gained in a call centre or similar environment
  • Must be PC literate with proficiency on MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You will ideally live locally or within a commutable distance to central Southend

The Package

  • Starting salary of £15,500 per annum + commissions
  • 37.5 hours per week
