A leading drives and controls company is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to head up their service and support team. The company is rapidly growing across Europe so there is a clear progress path for the right individual.
At least 5 years in self-motivated engineering management role with a proven track record in exceptional customer services. Must possess strong project management skills and be able to communicate professionally with all levels of engineers/managers/senior executives of the customer. HNC / HND / Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Manages the human, physical and financial resources of the customer services department to ensure growth and profitability meet the expectations of the Company.
Promote the Company image in keeping with its aspirations.
Develop the after sales markets on behalf of the Company in the sale of spare parts, repairs, service, training and other relevant products as may from time to time become available.
Recognise and promote new after sales markets which may benefit and contribute to the growth of the company.
Supporting breakdowns and repairs with both product and response planning and application.
Test Department - to ensure all systems and products are thoroughly tested to a high level, as far as practical, before shipment to the customer. Total responsibility for test personnel, test procedures, test results, reporting, health and safety, test equipment.
Repairs - in house analysis, test, repair and re-test of all products.
