JOB DESCRIPTION: Financial/Mortgage Adminstrator

Responsible to: Head of Financial Admin

Location: Four Oaks Financial Services, 168 Birmingham Road, Shenstone Wood End, Lichfield, WS14 0NX


The Financial / MortgageAdminstraor reports to the Financial Admin Manager and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services.


Key Skills & Behaviours

· To provide efficient administrative support to a team of Financial Advisers

· Preparation of correspondence including letters and emails

· To be a point of contact for clients, life offices and members of the business

· Maintain company administration systems and ensure client data is accurate and up to date

· Maintain diary management system with daily workflow

· Assist with the management of the Advisers pipeline and portfolio of existing business

· Ensure appropriate documentation is scanned and attached to the relevant Client.

· Ensure new business files are compliant with FCA and Company guidelines

· Prepare and format reports in line with Company guidelines

· Prepare new business packs for Adviser client meetings

· Any other reasonable request made by a Director/Manager of the business

* Submitt new business to the relevant providers using their systems on Life Cover, Pensions and Investments.

* To provide support on all mortgage cases and submitt to new lenders.

Key Skills

Financial Services experience essential

· Experience of XPLAN desirable but not essential

· Effective organisational and planning skills

· Able to work to deadlines

· Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

· Delivery focused, with a drive for quality throughout

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Must have a keen eye for detail

· Willing to learn and develop

· Able to work as part of a team or, if required, under own initiative

Hours 9.00 - 17.00 (Monday to Friday)
