Hays Senior Finance is Exclusively managing an appointment of Practice Manager responsible for delivering financial, policy and advisory services in a highly commercial and interactive role representative across an international business.
Your new role
This appointment is for an Innovative, dynamic and professional practice manager with notable experience in the charted accountancy profession. This a key strategic appointment at Director level and the requirement is for an experienced adviser to support clients on key challenges across their business including setting up policy work, succession planning, anti-money laundering, awareness of the move to take accounts digital (cloud softwear) and acting as a figurehead across business advise.
You will be a key member of the advisory board supporting clients across the UK and building trust and understanding around requirements. Day-Day working in an established team, you will maintain engagement across a multitude of clients, making and supporting recommendations across business planning, compliance, regulatory and legal matters.
This is a critical role within a high profile team, the Business Partner will support engagement activities internally and externally across the organisation as well as providing guidance, counsel and business advise across finance, policy, and governance as well as commercial financial support and defining and delivering excellent leadership skills. The Business Partner will have a commercial focus, maximising commercial returns as well as wider business development opportunities. You will provide leadership and management direction, as well as budget management, commercial income targets and ensuring the function achieves financial and non-financial targets.
You will be responsible for the provision of detailed Management Information and sharing of information across regulators and the wider organisation. This is a commercial finance role where first class communication skills and advisory experience is essential. Experience of implementing change across people and process is essential as part of adding value across the function.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a relationship management role complementing compliance and monitoring and this role will be a key support across internal controls and portfolio management. This role would be suited to a Fully Qualified CA or Charted Accountant with significant experience in an advisory practice role and business partnering capacity with a wide commercial focus to resonate with challenges across the profession. Applications from mid-tier and Big 4 firms are preferred and practice experience is essential given the nature of the role.

The salary on offer is from £55,000 - £61,000 per annum and includes generous pension allowance, holiday entitlement and company specific benefits.
