An experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk is required within a business services company based in Newcastle offering up to £18,000 per annum, permanent vacancy.

Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a UK wide business, headquartered in Newcastle-upon-tyne.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will work as part of a small team and take full responsibility for a portfolio suppliers from start to finish. You will assist with the processing of invoices; matching GRNs to invoices, posting invoices against purchase orders, obtaining management's authorisation for invoices and posting and chasing agents commission invoices, ensuring they are posted before the month end. You will also be responsible for preparing month end payment runs. You will be the point of contact for suppliers, therefore you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and handling all on-going correspondence.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this position you will need proven experience working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is an extremely fast-paced role so experience working with high volumes would be beneficial although not essential.
