My client is one of the leading manufacturers of innovative and sustainable ventilation products. They are now looking for a fast learner and a focussed individual to join their Procurement team to develop alongside the company.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a hard working, eager to learn individual who is looking to gain more experience in a Procurement department.

Day to day you will be responsible for managing your suppliers, obtaining quotes for products and ensuring items are correct and supply agreements are in place/ Along with this your will be responsible for looking at shortages and usages of components and whether they are higher or lower than planned, so orders can be adjusted.

The role will involve you monitoring all queries and distributing them through the department as well as reviewing any weekly issues that may arise in the department, for example line stops and quality problems. If issues do arise you will be responsible for dealing with the supplier and the personnel who is responsible for the issues.

In addition to this there will be purchase orders to raise, new stock lines to create, facilities to manage, reports to create and databases to maintain, negotiation and working towards agreed personal and departmental KPIs
