Our client, a successful and well respected financial services organisation, are currently recruiting for a Branch Network Manager to provide the Branches with the right skills, tools, processes and training to offer exceptional levels of customer service. The successful will focus on growing balances and customer numbers through providing high levels of service.


- Enhancing the customer’s experience, specifically focussing on systems, processes and behavioural improvements
- Identifying and implementing change when necessary
- Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
- Driving sales performance through customer service and experience
- Identifying new ways to increase customer satisfaction
- Undertaking regular branch visits to provide on-going support
- Working with facilities and any third party providers to ensure branch premises support the customer journey
- Line management for all branch managers handling all aspects of performance
- Monitoring and reporting of all branch specific MI including customer satisfaction and sales
- Identifying and implementing training regimes and staff development
- Monitoring performance of all financial metrics
- Building relationships throughout the bank to ensure branch proposition is well understood and engaged in with all stakeholders
- Supporting the Senior Branch Operations manager in driving the consistent adherence to all compliance, Risk and operational requirements
- Management and monitoring of all audit requirements ensuring full compliance with business and security policy and procedures
- Conducting regular audits of Training and Competence activity, ensuring all documentation is in place and actively managing any gaps identified
- Maintaining the company’s compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations

Skills and experience required:

- At least five years of experience working within the financial services industry
- 3 years of experience undertaking line management responsibilities within a retail banking environment
- Detailed knowledge branch banking procedures
- Robust knowledge of TCF requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- GSCE/GCE qualifications in both maths and English are essential
- Certificate in Retail Banking Conducting Business (CertRBCB) would be beneficial
- Award in Supervising in a Regulated Environment (AwSRE) would be beneficial

The salary for this role is up to £37500 plus £4800 car allowance.
